FINAL WORKSHOP
On October 25-27, 2017 the S.I. Subbotin Institute of Geophysics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine will host
the Final Workshop of IRG Project: South Caucasus Geociences.
We are pleased to invite you to join us for the International Workshop organized by IRG Project: South Caucasus GeoScienses (2013-2017).
This meeting will be opportunity to present and debate new data and ideas about tectonic and geodynamical processes of the large, polyphase and
complex domain still active. We are certain that all researchers participating in IRG Project will bring their expertise in open and constructive discussions.
We are confident that the IRG Project Final Worcshop will be a valuable experience for all participants.
SCIENTIFIC FOCUS
The meeting will focus on the geological evolution of the Black Sea-Anatolia-South Caucasus domaine, including Greater Caucasus, Lesser Caucasus,
Crimea orogenic belts. The workshop is aimed to highlight and discuss the tectonic and geodynamic evolution of this region where subduction, basin
opening and collisions were taking place, and is focused on the active tectonics of this area.
